Gujarat: CM Bhupendra Patel participates in 'Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan', hoist tricolor in his residence

Gandhi Nagar (Gujarat) [India] August 8 : Ahead of Independence Day, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel participated in 'Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan' by hoisting the tricolour in Agasi, his residence, on Thursday morning.
With the hoisting of the tricolour, CM Bhupendra Patel marked the beginning of the Abhiyan in the state.
"Under the inspiration and guidance of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi, Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan is being held across the country from August 8 to August 15. Under which I started this campaign in Gujarat by hoisting the tricolour at my residence." CM Bhupendra Patel posted on X
Har Ghar Tiranaga Abhiyan, which encourages everyone to hoist the tricolour in their house, is being held across the country from August 8 to August 15.
Approximately 40 to 50 lakh tricolours are going to be distributed under this Har Ghar Tiranga across Gujarat.
In the presence of the Chief Minister, a grand tricolour yatra is also organised in the four major cities of the state, Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Surat and Vadodara.
"A grand celebration has been organised in Gujarat in honour of Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan. All of you will participate in this campaign of patriotism by hoisting tricolours at your home." Gujarat CM said on X.
This year, under Har Ghar Tiranga, multiple programs like Tricolor Rally, Tricolor Yatra, Tricolor Run, Tricolor Concert, Tricolor Canvas, Tricolor Oath, Tricolor Selfie and Tricolor Mela are to be held in the state.
Earlier on Wednesday, CM Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the Handicraft Exhibition organised by the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in Gandhinagar.
"Handloom is a symbol of India's unique rural art and culture. Handlooms are an integral part of the country's rural economy. Happy National Handloom Day to all artisans who weave beautiful fabrics through handloom and craft. Let us all adopt the mantra of Vocal For Local given by Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi and insist on buying local handlooms and handicrafts," the Gujarat CM posted on X.
