TDP leader Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu assumes charge of Ministry of Civil Aviation

New Delhi [India], June 13 : Newly elected Lok Sabha MP and TDP leader, Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu, on Thursday officially took charge of the Civil Aviation Ministry.
The ceremony, marked by traditional rituals, saw Naidu engaged in a unique act of reverence before assuming his duties. In a gesture symbolising his faith and commitment, Naidu wrote "OM SRI RAM" 21 times on a sheet of paper before taking office.
This act, reflecting both his spiritual devotion and the significance he places on auspicious beginnings, drew attention and admiration from colleagues and onlookers alike. Naidu's gesture is seen as a blend of tradition and modernity, setting a tone of dedication as he steps into his new responsibilities.

On his first day at the ministry, while speaking about the soaring airfares, he said, "My intention is to make sure that air travel becomes accessible to the common man. To make this a reality, the prices have to be affordable. My priority would be to bring down the prices (airfares)," he told ANI.
The TDP MP from Andhra's Srikakulam Lok Sabha constituency is the youngest-ever Minister in Modi Cabinet 3.0.
The son of senior TDP leader and former Union Minister Yerran Naidu, Rammohan Naidu, is 36 years old. Three-time MP Ram Mohan Naidu has been representing Srikakulam Lok Sabha constituency in Andhra Pradesh since 2014.
Ram Mohan Naidu broke his father's record by becoming the youngest Cabinet Minister in the NDA coalition, continuing a legacy. His father, Yerran Naidu, was the youngest Minister in 1996 at the age of 39.
