Tripura CM Manik Saha attends Krishna Janmashtami celebrations organised by Yadav Mahasabha

Agartala (Tripura) [India], August 26 : Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha attended the 73rd Krishna Janmashtami celebrations at the historic Krishna Mandir in Agartala, an event organised by the Yadav Mahasabha. The grand celebration, marking the birth of Lord Krishna, saw the participation of a large number of devotees and prominent personalities from across the state.
Agartala Mayor Dipak Majumder and local MLA Dipak Majumder also attended the event, joining the Chief Minister in offering prayers and participating in the religious rituals. The presence of these distinguished guests highlighted the festival's importance in the cultural and religious fabric of Tripura.
In his address, Chief Minister Manik Saha emphasised the significance of Krishna Janmashtami as a festival that promotes peace, unity, and devotion. He praised the Yadav Mahasabha for organising the event and bringing the community together to celebrate Lord Krishna's teachings and legacy.
The Krishna Mandir was beautifully decorated for the occasion, with intricate floral arrangements and lighting that enhanced the festive atmosphere. Devotees engaged in various religious activities, including bhajans, kirtans, and special puja ceremonies, all dedicated to Lord Krishna.
The event concluded with the distribution of prasad to the devotees, marking the end of a spiritually enriching celebration. The 73rd Krishna Janmashtami at Krishna Mandir will be remembered as a moment of communal harmony and devotion, further strengthening the cultural heritage of Tripura.
Earlier today, the Chief Minister extended his greetings to the people of the state through a post on X.
"Best wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Lord Krishna's auspicious Janmashtami," he wrote on X.
