New Delhi November 04 (ANI): In the recent incident of Khalistani violence in Canada, extremists targeted Hindu devotees in Brampton. The attack was carried out on a consular camp co-organised with the Hindu Sabha Mandir in Brampton by extremists. MEA condemned the recent attacks and said “We remain deeply concerned about the safety and security of Indian nationals”. Earlier, condemning the recent attack, the Indian HC in Canada said, “It is deeply disappointing to see disruptions”. . The attack by anti-India elements was also condemned by Canadian PM Trudeau, who said, “Acts of violence are unacceptable”. The recent attack adds to a string of similar incidents documented in recent years, underscoring a distressing trend of religious intolerance. The attack has also drawn sharp criticism amid a full-fledged diplomatic crisis between India and Canada
