J&K: 51 seasonal schools set up for children of nomadic communities in Bandipora

Bandipora (J&K), July 16 (ANI): Education Department has set up a 51 seasonal schools for children of nomadic communities in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora. The purpose was to provide proper educational facilities to children of nomadic communities who comes from far to take education. These schools have been opened at different areas of Bandipora, Gurez to provide basic education to children. Children are also being provided with mid-day meals. These seasonal schools started functioning from this month and continue till onset of reverse migration of community. Tribal communities expressed their gratitude towards the education department for this initiative.
