J&K: BSF organises Civic Action Programme in Pulwama to help the poor

Pulwama (J&K), December 17 (ANI): In its pursuance to the GOI motto of Suraksha se Vikas ki oour, Frontier Hqr Border Security Force Kashmir organised a Civic Action Programme on December 16. It comprised of a series of events for the benefit of poor villagers of remote areas at Malangpora in association with Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malangpora. Shri Ashok Yadav, IPS, Inspector General BSF, Kashmir Frontier while inaugurating the skill development programmes on Basic Computer Course and Customer Relationship Management Course, handed over 15 computers, sponsored by the ICICI Bank under Corporate Social Responsibility, to Principals of Malangpora and Padgampora school. To bring the best of doctors/specialists to the doorsteps of marginalised villagers, a free Medical Camp was also inaugurated by the IG BSF. In addition , BSF organised a Recruitment Rally cum Awareness programme to prepare youth for the forthcoming employment opportunities in BSF and other armed forces. The programme culminated with a vibrant, colourful cultural programme presented by the students of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Malangpora & Padgampora School and troops of BSF. The entire programme by BSF earned wide appreciation and accolades of youth & villagers of nearby villages, who requested to organise more such programs for the benefit of the marginalised youth, elderly, women and girls. At the end, the Inspector General BSF rewarded the participants & expressed his gratitude to the participants and organizers of the programme.
