Gadchiroli (Maharashtra), January 14 (ANI): Acting as a wall of defence between animals and humans, forest officials in Maharashtra’s largest tiger reserve are in action. Given the growing cases of tiger-human conflict in Chandrapur and Gadchiroli districts in Maharashtra, In the last 10 years, the forest department has tranquilized and captured a total of 62 tigers that have entered human settlements. Forest officials from ‘Tadoba National Park’ Tiger Reserve in Maharashtra have played a key role in this operation. With the help of machines, binoculars, and drones, forest officials can capture the tiger safely. Further, the veterinary officer briefs about the challenges and details the strategy for how a tiger is captured successfully.
