“Reimagining the way we do business in India…” Airbus CCO Christian Scherer

Vadodara (Gujarat), Oct 30 (ANI): Highlighting the huge business potential of India, Christian Scherer, Airbus Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) on October 30 said that they are reimagining the way to do business in India. On the sidelines of the foundation stone laying ceremony of the C-295 transport aircraft manufacturing facility in Gujarat's Vadodara, he said, “We accept, with humility and a great sense of responsibility, the trust and confidence that GoI has reposed in Airbus... together, we'll be delivering an aircraft that'll strengthen IAF and serve PM's vision of 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat'.” He added, “C-295 aircraft is a direct product of PM Modi's visionary Make in India policy, a policy that has encouraged my company, Airbus, to reimagine the way we do business in India. On average, we'll deliver to India over 1 aircraft every week for the next 10 years.” PM Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of India’s first private-sector transport aircraft manufacturing facility in Vadodara, Gujarat on October 30. Airbus Chief Commercial Officer Christian Scherer also attended the event.
