Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has resigned and left the country on August 05. Heavy military forces have been deployed in Dhaka after nearly 100 killed in the fresh wave of protest. Over 300 people have been killed in the violent clashes in just three weeks since the outbreak of the protest. Waves of protest erupted due to demands for reforming quota system that reserves civil service jobs for descendants of 1971 war veterans.
