Agartala (Tripura), November 23 (ANI): Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha celebrated as the Bharatiya Janata Party clinched a big margin in the Maharashtra Assembly polls on November 23. Following this, he credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the landslide victory. According to current trends in the 2024 Maharashtra Assembly elections, the Mahayuti alliance has crossed the crucial majority mark, as per ECI data. As per the initial results, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is leading in 133 seats, driving the charge in Maharashtra. The Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena (SHS) follows closely, with leads in 57 seats. The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), led by Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, is leading in 41 seats, while the Rashtriya Yuva Swabhiman Party (RSHYVSWBHM) is leading in 1 seat.
