Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2024 | To boost start-up ecosystem, Gujarat Govt funds youth entrepreneurs

Surat (Gujarat) December 20 (ANI): Inspired by PM Modi’s ‘Start-up India’ initiative, youths are all decked up ahead of Vibrant Gujarat Summit. Young minds with brilliant start-up ideas are to present their proposal at the summit that commences from Jan 10, 2024. To encourage more and more participation from youth, State Govt has provided funds for start-ups and patent registration on newly created products. It has given a grant of Rs 4 crore to Narmad University of Surat for new start-ups on behalf of youth through Vibrant Gujarat Project. SSIP department of the university has prepared 5000 youth in last 1 year and till now a total of 149 people have got themselves registered. Patent registration beneficiaries shared their experiences with Govt’s initiative and how it would help the youths. Notably, 47 MoUs with investment of Rs 1.56 lakh crores were signed on Dec 20, in presence of Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel. The investment is expected to generate around 7.59 lakh jobs. 147 MoUs have been signed so far under Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024.
