Weightlifter Gururaj Poojary expresses happiness after clinching bronze in CWG

Birmingham (England), July 30 (ANI): With another weightlifter bagging a medal in the Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham, Weightlifter Gururaj Poojary made India proud by giving the nation its second medal, winning a bronze in the men’s 61 kg finals. “I can't describe it in words. The Tricolour was flying high, it was my dream,” Gururaj said. “I'm elated. It's a good day, Sanket won silver ad I won bronze, the 2nd medal for India. I could have done better. I had fallen ill recently but I recovered and gave my best. I dedicate my medal to my wife and thank all my supporters,” he added.
