For ‘world peace’, over 37 thousand women participate in historic ‘Maharaas’ at Yatra Dham Dwarka

Dwarka (Gujarat), Dec 24 (ANI): Maharaas was organized at Pawan Dhara of Yatradham Dwarka, in which more than 37 thousand women participated, creating history. Wearing traditional attire, women from all across Gujarat joined the traditional ceremony. The roots of Maharaas in Dwarka can be traced back to folk tradition related to Lord Krishna. People believe once upon a time, lord Krishna played Dhol and all the women went to play Raas with him.
