New Delhi [India], September 6: On September 4, 2024, the International Youth Development Foundation (IYDF) joined forces with Hungry Mountain Restaurant to host a meaningful charity event at the SFM Minority School in the Shah Jamal area of Ashiq Ali Road, Aligarh, India. The event, organized by Mohd. Adnan Ansari, saw active participation from a team of volunteers, including Alia Ansari, Zikra Khan, Aman Sharma, Shahana Baig, Faheem Khan, and Akib Hashmi, who collectively provided essential supplies and care to 35 children.
Throughout the event, the children received a range of vital supplies, including 52 kg of rice, 24 liters of cooking oil, 30 kg of flour, 20 kg of lentils, 35 backpacks, 200 pencil cases, 200 erasers and sharpeners, 45 boxes of mango juice, 45 packets of biscuits, 70 chocolate bars, 40 sheets of drawing paper, and 40 sets of crayons. These donations not only improved their daily living conditions but also supported their educational needs.

One of the event's highlights was a drawing competition in which the children enthusiastically participated, showcasing their artistic talents. In addition, the volunteers engaged in meaningful interactions with the children, discussing their daily lives and eating habits. This direct interaction allowed the volunteers to better understand the children's needs while providing the children with a sense of social support and care.
Ms. Naghma, the head of SFM School, expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the support from IYDF and Hungry Mountain Restaurant. She emphasized that the event brought significant relief to the children, offering both material aid and emotional encouragement. Ms. Naghma can be reached at 8307783919 for further information.

We feel specially chosen to carry out this sacred work, and it brings us immense joy and honor to continue this mission." The volunteers also shared how participating in this event deeply impacted them, underscoring the profound meaning of giving and helping others.
This partnership between IYDF and Hungry Mountain Restaurant illustrates how the broader community can take tangible actions to support vulnerable groups, especially minority children. Looking ahead, IYDF plans to collaborate with more businesses to implement additional charitable projects, improving the lives of children in need and helping them achieve a brighter future.
