"No similarity between their words and actions": Deputy CM Vijay Sinha on INDIA bloc protest in Bihar

Patna (Bihar) [India], July 21 : Following the protest of the INDIA bloc against the alleged failure of law and order situation in Bihar, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha slammed the opposition and said that there is no similarity between their words and actions.
The INDIA bloc's comes after the recent murder of Jitan Sahni, father of Mukesh Sahni, founder of the Vikasheel Insaan Party in Bihar.
"We had already said that if the opposition is serious about law and order, then they should take a pledge and declare that they will not give tickets to any criminal, will not send any extremists to the House, and will not make the liquor mafia or sand mafia as candidates. There is no similarity between their words and actions," he said on Saturday.
"I have openly said that the BJP does not give preference to criminals or, the mafia anywhere. If anyone can teach a lesson to the criminals, then it is the NDA alliance, the BJP," Sinha added.
Reacting to the INDIA bloc protest, BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad asserted that the situation in Bihar has improved.
"They have the right to hold protests, but before that, the RJD should look into themselves. Earlier, there used to be kidnappings in the daylight in Patna, (under their regime)...The situation has got better...Nitish Kumar's government is looking into this (law & order situation in Bihar," BJP MP said.
Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary on Saturday said that the law and order in Bihar collapsed under Lalu Prasad Yadav's government, and added that the situation in the state is now normal.
"Law and order collapsed under Lalu Prasad Yadav's government in Bihar. He (Lalu Prasad Yadav) should first give an account of the injustice done to the people of Bihar for 15 years," Chaudhary told reporters.
On July 17, the leaders of the INDIA bloc parties met to discuss the current law and order situation given recent incidents and planned to hold demonstrations at all district headquarters on July 20 to protest the law and order situation in the state.
Earlier, VIP chief Mukesh Sahani's father, Jitan Sahani, was killed at his residence in Darbhanga.
The incident sparked a political uproar and the opposition criticized the Nitish Kumar government, alleging a breakdown in law and order.
