3 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Nagaland

Kohima (Nagaland) [India], May 25 : Three new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Nagaland, as per information provided by the Neiphiu Rio, Chief Minister of the state.
While two cases were reported in Dimapur, one case was reported from Kohima, informed Nagaland CM. He further said that necessary actions of contact tracing and containment measures are being taken.
"Two persons in Dimapur and one in Kohima tested positive for COVID-19. We need to handle it with utmost care and responsibility. Necessary action of contact tracing and containment measures are being taken and situation closely monitored," said Neiphiu Rio in a statement.
According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of cases in the country is 1,38,845, including 77,103 active cases. While 57,720 patients have either been cured or discharged, 4,021 deaths have been reported so far.
