"Administration in BJD is not going well, nobody listens to anyone": Arabinda Dhali after joining BJP

Bhubaneswar (Odisha) [India], March 4 : After joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) yesterday, Arabinda Dhali has said that the administration in the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) is not going well where nobody listens to anyone.
"I like BJP, it is an independent party. BJD is not independent. The administration in BJD is not going well, nobody listens to anyone," he said.
Arabinda Dhali who is a five-time MLA, joined the BJP in the presence of Odisha election in-charge Vijaypal Singh Tomar and BJP state president Manmohan Samal at the BJP headquarters in Bhubaneswar on Sunday after resigning from the primary membership of BJD.
On Sunday, he said that PM Modi is set to become the prime minister for the third time with more than 400 MPs. "The development that happened in the last 8 years did not happen in the 70 years before him. The country is secured under him," he said.
Along with Arabinda Dhali, former Malkangiri MLA Mukunda Sodi, and thousands of their supporters, they joined the BJP in the presence of BJP State President Manmohan Samal.
MLA Arabinda Dhali, who represents the Bhubaneswar Jayadev assembly constituency, sent his resignation letter to party supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday.
Odisha co-incharge, BJP Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi and several senior party leaders attended the joining function in Bhubaneswar.
Former Eastern Air Commander and Kargil war veteran Air Marshal Dilip Patnaik also joined BJP in Odisha on Sunday in the presence of senior state BJP officials.
In the last week of February, in a setback to Biju Janata Dal (BJD) and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik before the elections, former minister and a close associate of CM and one of the founder members of the party, Debasis Nayak and Congress legislator Nihar Mahananda joined BJP.
After joining BJP Debasis Nayak said that there is no prestige in BJD. All bureaucrats are running the party.
