Ahmednagar (Maharashtra) [India], November 13 : Addressing a public rally in Maharashtra's Ahmednagar, BJP National President JP Nadda said, "The enthusiasm and support I am seeing shows that the people of Shirdi have made up their mind to elect a Mahayuti government in Maharashtra."
JP Nadda in his rally further mentioned that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi the politics in India has changed.
Nadda further added that through PM Modi's progressive leadership and long-term direction, he has transformed the culture of politics in India.
"I would like to draw your attention to why the BJP and the Mahayuti need to win the assembly elections in Maharashtra once again. It is important because after 60 years, a Prime Minister is elected for a third consecutive time and this is thanks to your blessings. Under PM Modi's leadership, the politics of India has changed. Through his progressive leadership and long-term direction, Modi ji has transformed the culture of politics. He has also changed the definition of politics," Nadda said in the rally.
BJP National President JP Nadda further in his rally said that former governments in the Centre and the states promoted the politics of divide and rule and they supported corruption.
"After Independence, every government formed at the Centre and in the states promoted the politics of divide and rule. They supported corruption. They misled the people, wrote good things in their manifestos, took votes, and focused on filling their homes," he said.
Nadda further asserted to the voters that after PM Modi came to power, what he said was delivered, and what he didn't say was also done. Modi ji gave birth to this new politics in India.
"However, after PM Modi came to power, there has been no politics based on caste, regionalism, religion, or vote banks. By defying all of these, he connected India with the politics of development and moved forward with progress. Modi ji delivered on his promises he said he would, and what he didn't say was also delivered. It was Modi ji who laid the foundation for this new style of politics. For this reason, we can say that where appeasement and vote bank politics once prevailed, with the motto of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Prayas, Sabka Vishwas' PM Modi ji has moved forward," Nadda said in his rally.
BJP National President further stated, "Under PM Modi's leadership, the government is proactive."
Campaigning has intensified for the 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra with both the ruling Mahayuti and the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) making efforts to woo the electorate.
The polls are scheduled for November 20 and counting will be held on November 23.
