All India Chess Federation holds Pre-Annual General Meeting to discuss development

Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh) [India], July 8 : The All India Chess Federation (AICF) successfully conducted a Pre-Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday in Kanpur. The meeting brought together representatives from 33 state affiliations across the nation to deliberate on the development of chess in India and address the obstacles faced by these affiliates.
Under the esteemed leadership of Sanjay Kapoor, President of AICF, the meeting commenced with a warm welcome extended to the key dignitaries representing the 33 state affiliations. President Kapoor expressed heartfelt appreciation for the relentless support provided by every member of the chess federation, which has ushered in tremendous positive changes in the Indian chess landscape over the past two and a half years.
The primary objective of the meeting was to facilitate an open discussion on the key issues and challenges confronting the state associations.
