Amit Shah to attend Raman Singh's nomination filing in Rajnandgaon

New Delhi [India], October : Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to visit Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh on Monday (October 16) to attend the nomination of former Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Raman Singh for the state Assembly election.
Shah will arrive at Raipur Airport at 11:45 AM on October 16 and from there, he will take a helicopter to Rajnandgaon at 11:50 AM and is expected to reach Rajnandgaon at 12:22 PM.
The Union Home Minister will participate in a rally on the occasion of the former Chief Minister's nomination.
He will also be a part of the program for Raman Singh's nomination who is contesting from Rajnandgaon.
A roadshow is likely to be organised during Amit Shah's visit.
The nomination process for the first phase of the Chhattisgarh State Assembly elections, which will be held on the 7th of the next month for 20 seats, will begin on October 13 and continue until October 20.
The first phase of polling for 20 seats in Chhattisgarh will be held on November 7, and the remaining 70 seats in Chhattisgarh will go to polls on November 17.
Polls will be held in Mizoram on November 7, Chhattisgarh on November 7 and November 17, Madhya Pradesh on November 17, Rajasthan on November 25 and Telangana on November 30.
The counting of votes will take place on December 3 in all the states.
