Arunachal Pradesh CM thanks Dalai Lama for congratulatory message after victory in Assembly polls

Itanagar (Arunachal Pradesh) [India], June 3 : Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu thanked Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama for his congratulatory message to him, after the landslide victory of Bharatiya Janata Party in the assembly polls in the state.
CM Khandu said the "warm words of encouragement" inspire him to work harder for the betterment of the state and people.
He also wished for the good health and well-being of the Dalai Lama.
"I'm immensely blessed to have received a kind congratulatory message from His Holiness @DalaiLama ji on the recent landslide victory of @BJP4India in our state's assembly poll. The warm words of encouragement from His Holiness mean a lot to us and will always inspire us to work harder for the betterment of our state and its lovely people. I am also deeply thankful to His Holiness for his blessings and continued guidance," Khandu said in a post on X.
"Your teachings on compassion, peace, and the importance of inner values resonate profoundly with me, encouraging all of us to become better human beings. My sincere prayers and best wishes to His Holiness for his continued good health and well-being," he added.

Dalai Lama congratulated CM Khandu after BJP's massive victory in the state.
"Over the years, Arunachal Pradesh has made tremendous strides in development and prosperity. I hope that you will also continue to strive to improve the lives of those who are less privileged," Dalai Lama said in his message.
"I wish you success in meeting the challenges that may lie ahead in fulfilling the te hopes and needs of the people of Arunachal Pradesh," he added.
BJP registered a landslide victory by winning 46 out of 60 seats in the assembly.
The BJP had already won 10 seats unopposed in Arunachal including seats of Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein in March itself.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also thanked the people of Arunachal Pradesh for reposing their faith in the Bharatiya Janata Party again and said the party will keep working with even "greater vigour" for the state's growth.
