Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurates longest flyover in state

Guwahati (Assam) [India], August 30 : Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Wednesday inaugurated the Nilachal flyover at Maligaon in Guwahati which is now the longest flyover in the state.
CM Sarma also tweeted a bird’s eye view of the 2.6 km long Flyover from Maligaon to Kamakhya Gate that was inaugurated by him today evening.
The 4-lane steel girder flyover has been constructed with a cost of Rs 420.75 crore.
The foundation stone of the flyover was laid in October 2020.
