"Bansuri Swaraj will have a historic victory...": CM Dhami urges voters to support BJP's candidate from New Delhi LS seat

New Delhi [India], May 23 : Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Thursday attended a roadshow organized in support of BJP's New Delhi Lok Sabha seat candidate Bansuri Swaraj in Paharganj and urged voters to support her adding that she will achieve a "historic victory."
CM Dhami expressed confidence in the BJP's victory in the Lok Sabha election in Delhi, stating that his party will win all seven seats of Delhi with a larger margin than in 2019.
"BJP will win all the 7 Lok Sabha seats of Delhi and Bansuri Swaraj will have a historic victory," said the Uttarakhand CM.
"We are getting immense support from the people here. BJP will win all the 7 seats in Delhi with a huge majority. People are coming in large numbers. Every section is coming forward to participate in this great festival of democracy. This time BJP will win all the 7 seats with a bigger margin than 2019," CM Dhami told ANI.
Bansuri Swaraj, the daughter of the late Union Minister Sushma Swaraj, is running against AAP's MLA Somnath Bharti.
Meanwhile, DCP Election cell of Delhi Police, Sanjay Sehrawat on Thursday said that 33,000 policemen of Delhi Police, 51 paramilitary companies, and 17,500 Home Guards will be deployed in the national capital in view of the Lok Sabha polls to be conducted on May 25.
"Delhi Police has completed its preparations for the elections to be held on May 25. There are 2628 voting centres out of which 429 are highly sensitive. 33,000 policemen of Delhi Police will be deployed at the polling booth and apart from this, 51 paramilitary companies will also be deployed for security and 17,500 Home Guards who have come from Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, and MP will also be deployed," DCP Sehrawat said.
"We have hired drones in very sensitive areas to monitor any illegal activities," he added.
Sehrawat further informed that a large number of CCTV cameras have been installed on the interstate borders as elections in Delhi and Haryana are on the same day.
Delhi is undergoing voting in a single phase on all seven Lok Sabha seats on May 25, with a fierce contest between the BJP and the INDIA bloc, comprising the AAP and Congress. The counting of votes and declaration of results will be done on June 4.
The Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress are fighting the elections in alliance in the national capital, with the AAP contesting four and the Congress three seats.
The seven parliamentary constituencies in Delhi are Chandni Chowk, East Delhi, New Delhi, North East Delhi, North West Delhi, South Delhi, and West Delhi.
