BJP candidate from Ayodhya files nomination in presence of Uttarakhand CM Dhami

Ayodhya (Uttar Pradesh) [India], May 1 : In the presence of Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, BJP candidate from Ayodhya parliamentary constituency Lallu Singh filed his nomination papers on Wednesday.
During this, the Chief Minister said, "I have full faith that the god-like people of Ayodhya are going to make Prime Minister Narendra Modi the PM for the third time by electing Lallu Singh with a huge majority."
The Chief Minister, while paying obeisance to the holy birthplace of Lord Shri Ram, said that the glory of Ayodhya has returned under the leadership of the Prime Minister.
"Today Lord Ram is seated in the grand temple. The Ganga of Ram Rajya has emerged from Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh to the entire country. Construction work in Ayodhya, the center of faith of crores of Hindus, is going on as a grand and divine city. After the construction of Ram temple, crores of devotees have visited Shri Ram temple," said Dhami.
"The Chief Minister said that the BJP government under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi has ended the wait of 500 years by building the Ram temple. Now the people of Ayodhya must give their blessings to Prime Minister Modi to establish Ram Rajya in the entire country and vote as much as possible to make him the PM again," added Dhami.
CM Pushkar Singh Dhami offered prayers at the Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya and took the blessings of Ram Lalla and wished for happiness, prosperity and progress in the state.
BJP has again fielded sitting MP Lallu Singh from Ayodhya who has been elected MLA 5 times from the Ayodhya assembly constituency.
While Samajwadi Party also has filed its veteran candidate and nine-time MLA Awadhesh Prasad from the seat.
The elections in Uttar Pradesh will be held across seven phases starting April 19. The constituency has been added to phase 5. This means that voters in Ayodhya will cast their vote on May 20.
