May 11, 2024
Patna (Bihar) [India], May 11 : Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Misa Bharti on Saturday said that Bharatiya Janata Party did not fulfill any of the poll promises it made in the past 10 years, adding that it also fooled the people of Bihar by making false promises.
Speaking to ANI, Misa Bharti said, "They (NDA-BJP) have not fulfilled any of their promises in the past 10 years. They have fooled the people of Bihar by making false promises. Where are the 2 crore jobs that they promised? They are asking for one more chance but are not revealing their vision. On what basis are they asking for another chance? The people of the nation are witnessing all this and will answer this."
Misa Bharti further stated that the NDA alliance is not winning any seats in Bihar in the already concluded first three phases of the Lok Sabha polls.
Meanwhile, exuding confidence in the BJP's victory in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary said on Saturday that there is a wave of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the state and that the ruling party will win all 40 seats in Bihar.
Samrat Chaudhary said, "NDA's wave is going on in Bihar and people want to vote for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and we will win all 40 seats of Bihar. There is no competition here, no fights. Here, Bihar will move forward with the slogan of 'Sabka Sath, Sabka Vishwas."
Forty seats in Bihar are undergoing polls in all seven phases. In 2019, the BJP-led NDA swept the state by winning 39 out of 40 seats, while Congress won just one seat. RJD, a formidable force in the state, failed to open its account.
