May 08, 2024
Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], May 8 : Union Minister and Telangana BJP State President G Kishan Reddy on Wednesday expressed confidence in winning the maximum seats in the state and said that the people have realised that the Congress is doing false campaigns.
While addressing the media at the T-BJP State party office, Nampally, Hyderabad, Reddy said, "The BJP is getting a tremendous response in all villages of Telangana. People voluntarily wish to vote for the BJP. The conspiracy that Congress had done in the name of reservation was not taken seriously by anyone. People realise that Congress is doing false campaigns. BJP is going to win maximum seats in Telangana," he said.
"The negative campaigns against BJP have resulted in positive voters for BJP. The CM (Revanth Reddy) is intolerant to seeing all this. He does not know to do anything apart from using abusive words. He only knows how to extract taxes. He has a team to research what abusive words can be used," Reddy added.
Hitting out at Revanth Reddy and BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), the BJP leader said, "Revanth feels that a Nizam KCR has gone and that he is the new Nizam. KCR and Revanth are competing to speak lies, abuse and defame the BJP. Both of them can be given an Oscar award for it."
He further said that the Centra has given Rs 9 lakhs crores to Telangana.
Voting for all 17 seats in Telangana will take place on May 13 in the fourth phase of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. In the 2019 general election, Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) won nine seats, the Bharatiya Janata Party four, Congress three and AIMIM one seat.
The voting for the first three phases has been completed so far. The next round of voting will be held on May 13. Lok Sabha polls are being held across seven phases till June 1 and votes will be counted on June 4.
