"BJP opposes nepotism in politics..." says MP CM Mohan Yadav

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], April 30 : Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav applauded the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on being chosen CM from the Yadav community saying the party opposed nepotism in politics and gave the opportunity to every section of the society.
CM Yadav further said that only BJP could do this and this is why there was trust in the public. The CM made the remark in an interview with ANI on board a chartered flight on Tuesday.
"BJP says that making a leader from one family and one community is a nepotism system. BJP opposes it. Everyone should get a chance. I am happy that Bharatiya Janata Party gives opportunity to every section, so they have shown it by making the Chief Minister of Yadav community. Before me, Babulal Gaur was also made Chief Minister by the BJP. Only BJP can do this, that is why there is trust in the public," the CM said.
He further said that people trusted the BJP, they did not believe that the BJP could make a CM from the Yadav community and extended gratitude towards the party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"People are trusting BJP, they didn't think that BJP can do this (making CM from the Yadav community) and they are extending gratitude towards the party and prime minister Narendra Modi. During a public meeting in Hunterganj of Chatra district, Jharkhand, about 500 people from Yadava community joined the BJP. Earlier they (Yadav community) felt that they will not be taken care of by the BJP, but the way I have been given importance and the way others have been given importance, the public's trust has been built completely. Especially the attachment of the Yadav community towards BJP is increasing," the BJP leader said.
The chief minister also said that he has been working to unite not only the Yadav community but also all the other communities of the society.
"I have come out not only to unite the Yadav community but also all other communities. The examples of all communities are in front of us. Nayab Singh Saini has been the Chief Minister of Haryana, Bhajan Lal Sharma is Rajasthan CM , Himanta Biswa Sarma is Assam CM and Sanjay Dhami is the CM of Uttarakhand. BJP does not just say Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas, but shows it by doing it," he added.
He further added that Prime Minister Modi was receiving rousing support from people across the country, asserting that the prevailing mood of the nation could, in one word, be described as 'Modimay' (in favour of PM Modi).
"I am happy that the party vested in me the responsibility of taking our campaign pitch and promises to the people (during the election campaign). People across the length and breadth of the country are 'Modimay'. Be it North, South, East, or West, everyone is supporting PM Modi's bid for a third term in office. I believe that he will continue with his brand of good governance after returning to office for the third time," CM Yadav said.
On Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Jitu Patwari claiming that his party will win 5 of the 12 constituencies in the state where voting for the Lok Sabha concluded in the first two phases, Yadav said the claim holds no substance as the Congress was not even fighting these elections at full strength.
"His claim proved to be a damp squib when his party candidate (from Indore withdrew his nomination and) joined the BJP. They are not contesting all 29 (Lok Sabha) seats in the state. This is the first time that the Congress has managed to find candidates to contest all seats in the state. It seems their candidates are fleeing the field even before the battle begins," CM Yadav said.
Lok Sabha polls in Madhya Pradesh are being conducted in four phases. The first phase of polling was held on April 19 and the second phase was conducted on April 26.
The next two phases are scheduled to be held on May 7 and May 13. The counting of votes will be held on June 4.
With 29 Lok Sabha constituencies, Madhya Pradesh ranks sixth among all states in terms of its representation in the Lower House. Of these, 10 seats are reserved for SC and ST candidates, while the remaining 19 are unreserved.
