New Delhi [India], August 21 : The Bharatiya Janata Party's Jharkhand unit will take out a 'Yuva Aakrosh Rally' in Ranchi against Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren government on August 23 (Friday).
In the rally, it is expected that lakhs of youth workers of BJP will surround the CM's residence and demand answers from him about the promises made by him to the youth.
All BJP Jharkhand leaders, senior leaders, Union Minister Sanjay Seth, former Union Minister Arjun Munda, Babulal Marandi and other leaders will also participate in this youth protest rally.
"Lakhs of BJP youth workers will participate in this rally," Union Minister Sanjay Seth told ANI.
The Union Minister said that corruption is at its peak in Jharkhand, youth are not getting employment, and women's safety is the biggest issue, Hemant Soren government will have to answer all these.
Assembly elections are going to be held in Jharkhand this year in 2024 and BJP has fully prepared to corner the government.
Meanwhile, former Jharkhand Chief Minister and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader, Champai Soren announced that he will strengthen a new political party and said that a clear picture of his next move would emerge within one week.
"I will not retire from politics. In the new chapter that I have started, I'll strengthen the new organisation and if I find a good friend along the way, I'll move ahead with that friendship to serve the people and state," Soren said leaving open the possibility of future alliances.
On being asked about his decision to form a new party as he has less time, the former CM asked the reporter "Do you have any issue? Aapko kya pareshaani hai. We don't have any problem in forming the new party. Nayaa bhi bann sakta hai, agar dost hoga toh uske saath bhi badhaa jaa sakta hai. Everything will become clear in a week."
On Sunday, Soren took to social media to voice his grievances, stating that he had been "insulted" during his tenure as Chief Minister and that all options remained open ahead of the forthcoming Jharkhand Assembly elections.
As the political climate in Jharkhand intensifies, all eyes are on Champai Soren and his next move, with significant implications for the upcoming state elections.
