"BJP will win all 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh," says MP CM Mohan Yadav

Mainpuri (Uttar Pradesh) [India], April 15 : Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav expressed confidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) electoral prospects during his visit to Uttar Pradesh's Mainpuri for the inauguration of BJP candidate Jaiveer Singh's office.
Yadav said, "I had come to Mainpuri for the inauguration of BJP candidate Jaiveer Singh's office. There is a wave in favour of PM Modi. We will win with a thumping majority in Mainpuri and UP. In the entire country, we will win more than 400 seats. In Madhya Pradesh, we will win all 29 seats and all 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh."
Earlier on April 11, After getting the Lok Sabha poll ticket to contest from Uttar Pradesh's Manipuri, Bharatiya Janata Party leader and cabinet minister Thakur Jaiveer Singh reached the district and said that the drought-like situation here will soon be over.
While addressing the media, the BJP candidate said, "I don't find Mainpuri changeful. Because of the efforts made by our workers, we will win in Manipuri. Lotus will bloom here."
Observing the fervent support from various communities, Yadav remarked, "I am seeing all the communities supporting the BJP with zeal and enthusiasm. Definitely, the BJP will win all the seats from UP and MP."
Earlier in the day, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav applauded the BJP's Sankalp Patra, saying, Sankalp Patra has a mention of increasing tourism and Madhya Pradesh has a lot of potential to attract tourism activities."
It (Sankalp Patra) says about increasing tourism. Madhya Pradesh has a lot of scope for tourism. The cheetah project in forest tourism and heritage has its importance and we are already working on heritage buildings. The state has also leaped religious tourism after the construction of Mahakal Lok in Ujjain," said CM Yadav while addressing a press conference in Bhopal on Monday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi released BJP's manifesto on April 14. The BJP has named it Sankalp Patra. Just a day later, on April 15, Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav and State President VD Sharma released Madhya Pradesh's manifesto.
"A resolution is something that needs to be fulfilled. Prime Minister Modi's guarantee is also guaranteed. We always tried to take the state forward with the Centre," said Yadav.
Lok Sabha elections in Madhya Pradesh will be conducted in four phases. The first phase of polling would be held on April 19, followed by April 26, May 7 and May 13.
Madhya Pradesh has a total of 29 Lok Sabha constituencies, making it the sixth-largest state in terms of parliamentary representation. Out of these, 10 seats are reserved for SC and ST candidates, while the remaining 19 are unreserved.
In the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections, the BJP secured a massive victory in Madhya Pradesh, winning 28 out of the 29 seats. The Indian National Congress (INC) managed to win only one seat.
Meanwhile, talking about Uttar Pradesh, the Lok Sabha election 2024 will be held in seven phases from April 19 to June 1. Votes polled in the seven phases of the Uttar Pradesh Lok Sabha election 2024 will be counted on June 4.
In the 2019 elections, turning the arithmetic of the SP-BSP 'Mahagatbandhan' in Uttar Pradesh upside down, the BJP and its ally Apna Dal (S) won 64 of the 80 Lok Sabha seats. The partners in the alliance, Akhilesh Yadav's SP and Mayawati's BSP could only muster 15 seats.
The election for 543 Lok Sabha seats will be held in seven phases starting April 19.
