CBI detains German national at Delhi Airport with 6 kg cocaine

New Delhi [India], July 26 : The Central Bureau of Investigation has detained a German national of Indian origin with a consignment of six kg of cocaine at Indira Gandhi International Airport, officials said.
As per the officials, the person, identified as Ashok Kumar was travelling on Indigo Airlines 6E 1308 from Doha to New Delhi.
The cocaine was concealed in capsules hidden inside two soft toys. There were 270 capsules of suspected cocaine.
The person has been detained and further investigation is continuing.
Earlier, the Anti-Narcotics Squad of the South-East District arrested a drug peddler following a raid conducted at Hari Nagar Ashram, Sunlight Colony, last week, Delhi Police said on Wednesday.
With his arrest, cocaine worth Rs 13 crores, seven mobile phones, one scooter, Rs. 11,900 in cash, packing materials, and a digital weighing machine were recovered from his possession.
The arrested individual has been identified as Gnahore Serge Pacome, a 35-year-old resident of the Ivory Coast.
