CM Sai, ML Khattar attend Chhattisgarh BJP's working committee meeting

Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], July 10 : Chhattisgarh state BJP working committee meeting was conducted at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in Raipur on Wednesday in the presence of Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and other party leaders.
Addressing the state-level working body meeting of the party, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that it's very fortunate that Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar attended this meeting.
In his speech, Chhattisgarh CM Vishnu Deo Sai said, "It's very fortunate that Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar attended the working body meeting. He also reviewed the working of energy, housing and urban administration departments and assured allocation of funds for the development of Chhattisgarh."
Hitting out at the Congress party, Sai said, "Six months ago, before the assembly elections, Congress was not considering us as a contestant and even members of our party were also not confident about the status of BJP. But when the leaders like Ajay Jamwal and Om Mathur and others came to Chhattisgarh, it was a major boost to the party workers in inculcating the confidence of party workers."
Emphasising PM Modi's role in the victory, Sai stated, "When PM Modi raises the slogan of "Nai Sahibo Badal ke Rahibo", it plays a significant role in the victory".
"Party workers played a remarkable role in the victory of BJP by highlighting the schemes of central government led by PM Modi and simultaneously exposing the shortfalls of then Congress government in Chhattisgarh, said Sai.
"As per the promise of PM Modi, the promise related to the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana was fulfilled. Similarly, the state government also fulfilled the promise related to pending bonuses to farmers," said the Chief Minister.
Speaking on the occasion, Sai highlighted the works done by the Government in Chhattisgarh and stated that the government is determined to fulfil the guarantees of PM Modi.
"The state government is working with the policy of zero tolerance to corruption. We are working on this direction and the state government has made major changes in FL10 license and removal of offline TP (transport permit) for coal transportation," said Sai.
Highlighting the government's efforts to counter Naxalism in the state, "The double-engine government is bravely fighting Naxalism in insurgency-hit districts of Bastar region and forces succeeded in eliminating 42 naxals. Over 1000 naxals surrendered and camps are being established rapidly. The government is ensuring facilities to the region on a priority basis. The government is combating Naxalism very strongly. The way we are battling naxalism, we will succeed in eradicating naxalism in coming years as promised by PM and Home Minister."
