CM Yogi Adityanath reviews preparations for PM Modi's upcoming Ayodhya visit

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], December 21 : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday held discussions with saints in Ayodhya in view of the proposed program of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 30 and held a meeting with the local administration to review preparations and give guidelines.
Major guidelines given by the Chief Minister in the meeting are the following:
"The Prime Minister is scheduled to arrive in Ayodhya on December 30 before the much-awaited consecration ceremony at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. On his visit, the Prime Minister will gift projects worth thousands of crores to Ayodhya. In view of the importance of the event, all necessary preparations should be made by the local administration with the help of the Government of India," as per a press release from the chief minister's office.
The inauguration ceremony of Ram Mandir will take place on January 22 next year.
The CM said Ayodhya should be decorated according to the splendour of Treta Yuga. May the entire Ayodhya become filled with Lord Ram's glory! Decorate local monasteries and temples. Get a grand archway prepared. There should be a stream of bhajans flowing from place to place.
"The Chief Minister said the works related to Ram Path, Bhakti Path, Janmabhoomi Path and Dharma Path and the road connecting Ayodhya Airport bypass to Nayaghat should be completed promptly, ensuring quality. Their footpaths should be for devotees to walk on and vehicles should move on the main carriageway, and wherever there is sufficient width, seating arrangements and other public facilities should be developed," as per the release.
Ayodhya residents are also eager to welcome the prime minister. Therefore, take appropriate cooperation from them also. Get guidance from sages and saints. The Prime Minister should be greeted with flowers. The Prime Minister should be congratulated by reciting Swastika, the CM said.
"CM Yogi said the decoration of Dharampath coming from the highway towards Nayaghat should also be attractive in view of the arrival of the Prime Minister and the road from the airport to Nayaghat should be decorated with attractive flowers in the same way as the four-lane road from Sultanpur Road to the airport has been decorated," the release stated.
The railing of the Ayodhya bypass on the National Highway Lucknow Gorakhpur should be painted with attractive colours, and attractive flowers, pots, etc. should be kept in its median, CM Yogi said.
Under the guidance of the respected Prime Minister, projects worth more than Rs 30,000 crore are underway in Ayodhya. The quality of every construction work should also be checked regularly, the CM said.
We have to pay special attention to cleanliness. The entire city should be clean. There should not be dust, dirt, etc. on the roads anywhere in Ayodhya. For this, deploy additional manpower as per requirement, the CM added.
"The CM said, in view of the possible tour programme and public meeting of the Prime Minister, all preparations and security arrangements should be tight. For this, all the departments should coordinate among themselves and complete all the preparations from now on," as per the release.
Strengthen the security arrangements of the railway station, RPF, Civil Police and Railway Department with mutual coordination. The transport department should ensure the operation of buses in sufficient numbers, the CM said.
"The CM said our responsibility is not only to protect everyone but also to welcome them, hence, the behaviour of government and police employees should be ideal. Additional forces should be deployed in the police force, along with zone-wise senior officers. Besides, camping should also be done by increasing the number of STF and ATS forces," the release added. (ANI
