Congress appoints Mahesh Goud as president of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee

New Delhi [India], September 6 : Congress party appointed Mahesh Kumar Goud as the President of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee on Friday.
The party also appreciated the contributions of the outgoing PCC President Revanth Reddy.

Meanwhile, in a post on X, Telanagana Congress greeted Mahesh Kumar for assuming new role in the party.
"On behalf of Telangana Congress, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mr Mahesh Kumar Goud, who has been appointed as the 4th TPCC President of Telangana State," the post said.
Expressing his gratitude to party, Goud wrote on X, "I am truly humbled by the faith shown in me by Smt. Sonia Gandhi ji, Congress President Shri Kharge Ji, Shri Rahul Gandhi ji, and Smt. Priyanka Gandhi ji in appointing me as the President of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee.
"I extend my sincere thanks to the countless volunteers and party members whose hard work keeps our movement alive. Building on the vision set by outgoing president Shri Revanth Reddy Garu and with the guidance of our senior leaders, I look forward to uniting our efforts and taking the party to greater heights in service of Telangana's people. Jai Hind!," his post read.
On June 28, Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) MLA from Chevella, Kale Yadaiah joined hands with the ruling Congress party.
As per the Telangana Congress, MLA Kale Yadaya joined the party in the presence of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and AICC in-charge Deepadas Munshi in Delhi.
He was welcomed into the party with CM Revanth Reddy offering him the party 'kanduva'.
Among others, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) working President Anjan Kumar Yadav, former Minister Dr Chandrashekhar, and TPCC leader Dr Rohin Reddy were present.
Earlier, Jagtial BRS MLA Dr Sanjay Kumar also joined the Congress party at the residence of the Chief Minister.BRS leaders Kadiyam Srihari, Danam Nagender, Tellam Venkat Rao, and Pocharam Srinivas Reddy also joined the Congress earlier.
