Hubballi (Karnataka) [India], November 14 : Union Minister Pralhad Joshi on Tuesday alleged that Congress has encouraged anti-social activists and criminals wherever the party is in power.
Speaking to ANI, Joshi said that it is evident everywhere in Rajasthan and Karnataka, that law and order is "failing'.
"Wherever Congress government is in power, anti-social activists and criminals get encouraged. It is evident everywhere in Rajasthan and Karnataka, that law and order is failing. The reason for this is that the Congress party has always encouraged opposing forces of the society and are still doing it..." BJP's Rajasthan election in charge, Joshi said.
The BJP leader further exuded confidence that his party is going to win elections with a thumping majority in three poll-bound states of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
"We are going to win with a thumping majority. As far as I know...remaining states I am not aware (of Telangana and Mizoram). But as far as Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan (where I am in charge of my party) is concerned, BJP is going to win with a huge majority," he said.
Mentioning that the BJP came to power with a record margin in the 2013 Assembly elections in Rajasthan, he said, "This time BJP is aiming and there is also an expectation that the same results will be repeated," he added.
BJP won 163 seats in the 2013 Legislative Assembly elections and formed the government in Rajasthan.
Rajasthan is set to undergo assembly polls on November 25 and counting of votes will be done on December 3.
In the 2018 assembly elections, the Congress won 99 seats while the BJP won 73 seats in the 200-member House.
