"Congress, KCR never believed in politics of development": PM Modi in Telangana's Rangareddy

Rangareddy (Telangana) [India], November 25 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday targetted Congress and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao saying that both never believed in the politics of development adding that every vote given to the grand old party in the upcoming Telangana elections will strengthen the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS).
Addressing an election rally in Rangareddy's Maheshwaram, Prime Minister Modi said, "People of Telangana are eager to give a chance to BJP. Telangana has turmeric, talent, tradition, and technology but still, Telangana could not get its right place due to BRS's bad governance. But time is changing now. Your rising trust in the BJP will take Telangana to new heights. Congress and KCR don't believe in politics of development."
Cautioning the public against the secret alliance of BRS and Congress, Prime Minister Modi further slammed the Telangana Chief Minister and said that both parties are doing drama of making allegations against each other.
"KCR started his politics with Congress. He was made cabinet minister by Congress in 2004. He was the only one who went to Congress for Telangana. In the presidential elections, BRS supported Congress against Droupadi Murmu. In the Vice president elections, KCR supported Congress. When it came to the recent no-confidence motion against us he was with Congress. They are true friends. Congress and BRS are two sides of the same coin," PM Modi said.
"They put allegations on each other, yet on the inside, they are together. Every vote given to Congress in Telangana is strengthening BRS. Mothers, sisters, villagers, farmers, youth, labourers, Dalit, Adivasi and backward-class people I give you a guarantee that your dream is Modi's Sankalp," he added.
Earlier today, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Revanth Reddy on Saturday targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Bharat Rashtra Samithi over the recent raids on Congress leaders in Telangana, claiming that both parties were misusing the ED and Income Tax (IT) departments.
"The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) are using the ED and the Income Tax (IT) department to target Congress leaders," the TPCC leader said.
Meanwhile, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi took aim at K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) and said that KCR and all his family members in the Bharat Rashtra Samithi are corrupt, and most money-making ministries are in the hands of KCR's family.
"The most money-making ministries are in the hands of KCR's family. Most of the money is made on land, liquor and sand, and all of them are under the control of KCR and his family members," said Rahul Gandhi.
The state of Telangana is set to undergo assembly polls on November 30. The ruling BRS, Congress and BJP are the main contestants in the state. The counting of votes will take place on December 3.
