Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], August 7 : Telangana Congress MLA, Aadi Srinivas, has written a letter to the Embassy of India in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeking immediate repatriation of an individual Imran, a critically ill Indian citizen from Rajanna Sircilla district.
"I am writing to bring to your urgent attention the plight of Imran, a resident of Rajanna Sircilla district who is currently in Saudi Arabia and is in dire need of medical attention and repatriation," Srinivas said in the letter.
"Imran, a young man from Sircilla town, went to Saudi Arabia a month and a half ago to work at a supermarket. Unfortunately, he underwent a surgical procedure about 15 days ago and has been experiencing serious health complications since then. Despite repeated requests, his employer has refused to send him back to India," he added.
In a heart-wrenching video that has gone viral on social media, Imran has appealed to the Chief Minister for help, stating that his employer is threatening to kill him if he continues to demand repatriation. He has also requested assistance from the government whip, Vemulawada MLA Adi Srinivas, and Sircilla Congress in-charge KK Mahender Reddy.
"Given the critical nature of Imran's condition and the threats he is facing, I urge you to take immediate action to secure his safe return to India. His life is in grave danger, and any delay could have tragic consequences," Srinivas said.
"I request you to kindly intervene in this matter and use your influence to expedite the process of bringing Imran back home," he added.
