Congress will benefit from her efficient leadership: Bhupinder Hooda on Sonia Gandhi's re-election as Chairperson of CPP

Rohtak (Haryana) [India], June 9 : Former Haryana Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition, in Haryana Legislative Assembly Bhupinder Singh Hooda extended his wishes to Congress leader Sonia Gandhi on being re-elected as the Chairperson of the Congress Parliamentary Party (CPP).
He said that the Congress Party would continue to benefit from her vast experience.
In a post on X, Bhupinder Hooda said, "Many congratulations and best wishes to former President of the All India National Congress, Sonia Gandhi on being elected the leader of the Congress Parliamentary Party. The Congress Party will definitely continue to benefit from her vast experience and efficient leadership."
Earlier in the Congress Parliamentary Party (CPP) meeting held at the Central Hall of Parliament, Sonia Gandhi was re-elected as the Chairperson of the Congress Parliamentary Party. "It is good she (Sonia Gandhi) has been re-elected as CPP and she will keep guiding us," Kharge told ANI.
Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge proposed the name of Sonia Gandhi for the post of chairperson of the Congress Parliamentary Party in the CPP meeting.
Congress leader KC Venugopal also said that the CPP unanimously elected Sonia Gandhi as the CPP chairperson. Now CPP chairperson has to nominate floor leaders of Lok Sabha.
Meanwhile, newly elected Congress MP from Uttar Pradesh's Saharanpur, Imran Masood also expressed happiness over Sonia Gandhi's appointment as the Chairperson of the Congress Parliamentary Party (CPP), saying the Congress members feel safe under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi.
He also praised Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra and said that Congress' seat share increased because of Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra.
"We feel safe in Madam's (Sonia Gandhi) leadership. It will be fortunate for me that I'll get to work under her leadership... It's because of Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra that we have crossed 100 seats and if he leads there (as LoP in Lok Sabha), we will cross 300 for sure," he added.
