Mandi (Himachal Pradesh) [India], May 28 : BJP Mandi Lok Sabha candidate Kangana Ranaut on Tuesday asserted that the contribution of women's power is most important to make India a developed nation by 2047. She also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for launching schemes to help women's participation in the development of the country.
Kangana Ranaut said, "To include India among the developed countries by 2047, cooperation of all our countrymen is necessary and the contribution of women's power is most important. No nation can become developed unless the participation of the country's women is ensured."
She added, "Today, women are also representing many nations of the world. From space to MPs, Indian women have also proved their mettle."
The remarks of Kangana Ranaut came while she was addressing a public rally in Gaunta village in Mandi along with Union Minister of State Ramdas Athawale and former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur.

Lauding Prime Minister Narendra Modi, she said, "Narendra Modi's government at the Center has launched many schemes to help women's participation in the development of the country. Recently, both the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha passed the Women's Reservation Bill 2023 (128th Constitutional Amendment Bill). This bill reserves one-third of seats for women in the Lok Sabha, state assemblies and the Delhi Assembly. The Women's Reservation Bill will ensure that half the population is adequately represented in Parliament."
She also asserted that women's participation in the political arena will ensure that they are receptive and empowered towards women's issues.
Ranaut further talked about schemes launched by the Central Government for the empowerment of women. "There are numerous schemes like Mahila Samriddhi Yojana, PM Matru Vandana Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Free Sewing Machine Scheme, Mahila Shakti Kendra Yojana, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, Mudra Loan Yojana etc. for women prosperity and maternal welfare," she said.
Kangana Ranaut also launched an attack on Congress and said, "Congress leaders' repeated love for Pakistan shows that they live in India, but their hearts reside in Pakistan. What is this nefarious relationship between Congress and Pakistan called?..."
Slamming the party for pleasing its vote bank, Ranaut said, "Why do these people feel the need to praise Pakistan while living in India? What kind of disgusting politics is this to make India sing praises of Pakistan during elections to please its vote bank? What kind of politics is this that hands over thousands of acres of Indian land to Pakistan?"
Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut also took to her official X handle and said, "We will get the support of people, lotus will bloom in Mandi. Under the leadership of our successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi, our country is progressing rapidly in every field."
She added further, "Today, in the presence of Ramdas Athawale, Jairam Thakur and all the dignitaries, I addressed the people of Gaunta. Seeing the zeal and enthusiasm of the people, I am confident that the BJP is going to win here by a big margin."
Jairam Thakur also took to his official X handle and said, "Participated in the election public meeting with Ramdas Athawale at Gaunta village in Sarkaghat town. There is tremendous enthusiasm in Sarkaghat to make Chhoti Kashi's daughter Kangana Ranaut victorious in the Lok Sabha elections."
He added further, "Certainly, with the blessings of the people, Narendra Modi is going to become the Prime Minister of the country for the third time. Heartfelt gratitude to Union Minister of State Ramdas Athawale and the people who graced this election public meeting."
