West Godavari (Andhra Pradesh) [India], January 8 : Launching a series of attacks on Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy, TDP supremo and former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that the countdown for the YSRCP government has started, and all party leaders will soon be sent home.
Observing that the people from West Godavari have immense faith in both the TDP and the Jana Sena, the TDP supremo said that the countdown for the YSRCP has begun and all the party leaders will go home soon.
"Is a single person happy with the YSRCP rule?" he asked saying that the Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, is simply taking the people for a ride.
"In the 2014 elections, you elected the TDP MLAs from all 15 segments and the Lok Sabha members from all three constituencies in West Godavari district. In the coming polls too, the TDP and the Jana Sena combine will launch the electioneering from here," TDP supremo added.
Addressing a massive public meeting as part of the 'Raa Kadalira' programme, Chandrababu said that he is fortunate enough to visit West Godavari district which is the homeland of the great freedom fighter, Alluri Seetharama Raju.
"Before coming to power, Jagan promised not to revise the power tariff and the prices of essential commodities but after becoming the Chief Minister, he has revised all the prices at will and is looting the people. The state government is least bothered about the damaged roads and ignored development," he added.
Pointing out that the local MLAs are creating hurdles for the TDP public meetings, Chandrababu Naidu said that the aquaculture in West Godavari has been destroyed by this government.
"The TDP-Jana Sena combine is going to form the next government and all the measures will be taken to come to the rescue of the aqua farmers, including the supply of power at highly subsidised rates. I am assuring you all that the coming TDP-Jana Sena government will be that of the farmers and we will certainly abide by the farming community," the TDP supremo said.
