"Country witnessing major transformation under PM Modi": Goa CM in poll-bound Chhattisgarh

Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], September 16 : Expressing hope that Bharatiya Janata Party will again come to powein 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said that the parivartan Yatra will be a major change in the state.
He said that BJP will ensure human development as the party had done during its previous regime,
"Under the leadership of PM Modi, the country is witnessing a major transformation," said Goa CM who came to Chhattisgarh to participate in Parivartan Yatra.
He also highlighted the several schemes of the Modi-led government including Swachh Bharat Yojana, PM Nal Jal Yojana, Mudra Yojana and other schemes.
"The schemes being run by the government at centre has impacted in Chhattisgarh in terms of implementation," he added.
"Government of India is ready to pay all the production of rice while the state government is misleading the public/farmers here," he said, adding that the government is bearing the expenditure of farming.
He also pointed the central government's Ayushman Bharat Yojana. "By intensifying the districts as aspirational district, the government of India is ensuring all the facilities".
Highlighting the benefits of national educational policies, he said that the students in tribal dominated areas face problem due to english language therefore the studies will be carried out in regional language.
"The government has opened IIMs and IITs," he said.
Slamming the Congress-ruled state in Chhattsagrh, Goa CM said that due to the negligence of the state government, people did not got the benefit of PM Awas yojana.
He dubbed the state government as "advertising government" and "spending money in advertisements".
"Congress should release its report card on the promises they made in their poll manifesto", said Goa CM, adding that the government failed to fulfill 10 per cent of their promises. "The government failed to fulfill its promise of liquor ban".
Accusing the state government of being indulged in coal and liquor scam, he exhorted people to "support BJP for uprooting the state government".
He also attacked the state government over the issue of law and order.
"By changing the name of alliance, their intention cannot be changed. The partner of INDI alliance, DMK in Tamil Nadu, are attacking 'Sanatan Dharma', and they (opposition parties) are standing with them," said the Goa CM.
"The developments that took place in Goa under threleadership of double engine government is remarkable and everyone can see that," he said.
Sawant also alleged that the state government has not implemented single scheme properly.
Taking a dig at the state of healthcare in the state, Goa CM alleged, "39,000 children died in Chhattisgarh due to lack of treatment."
