COVID-19: G Kishan Reddy visits Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], July 12 : Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy on Sunday visited Gandhi Hospital, the largest dedicated COVID-19 facility in Hyderabad.
"As coronavirus cases in Hyderabad city are increasing, I have been visiting different COVID-19 centres across the city, meeting doctors there, patients and paramedical staff. I am trying to build confidence among them. I request the Telangana government to increase the number of coronavirus centres in the city," Reddy said while speaking to ANI.
"Everyone residing in containment zones should be tested. For this, the Telangana government must increase the COVID test centres. A person who develops symptoms or gets tested positive should be given proper treatment," he added.
"Telangana government must take confidence buildup measures in the state," he said.
According to the Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry, Telangana has so far has recorded 33,402 cases of COVID-19. Out of the total, 12,135 are active cases, 20,919 have been cured/migrated. A total of 348 have died in the state after contracting the virus.
