About 21,552 acres of Delhi are under green cover out of which 10,490 acres belong to DDA. In 2023-24, DDA has planted more than 8.8 lakh trees and shrubs.
During FY 2024-25, till now, 50,000 trees and 5,50,000 shrubs have already been planted at various locations across the city. The authority is also taking all possible steps to ensure that the saplings being planted are nurtured sufficiently so as to achieve optimal survival.
