Delhi: Man stabbed to death in Shashtri Park , 2 held

New Delhi [India], August 18 : Two people have been arrested for allegedly stabbing a man to death in northeast Delhi's Shashtri Park area, police said on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Sameer (20), who had earlier "slapped" one of the accused for misbehaving with his friend's sister.
The incident took place at 9:40 pm on Saturday.
Police have registered a First Information Report under various sections of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at Shastri Park police station and the two arrested accused have been identified as Ishan (18) and Aman alias Mohd Kaif (18), both residents of Shashtri Park.
"Ishan had misbehaved with Sohail's sister yesterday. Sohail is Sameer's (deceased) friend. In the evening, Sameer and Sohail stopped Ishan and slapped him. After a while, Ishan collected his friends, including Aman and Sanam and called Sameer on the phone. When Sameer arrived, Ishan stabbed him in the chest," police said.
The deceased Sameer Khan (20), a resident of Shashtri Park, was a private bus conductor, police said.
Police said they received a call from JPC Hospital at 10: 40 pm on August 17 about the incident.
"The deceased sustained a single stab wound on the left side of his chest. He was taken to a hospital, where he was declared brought dead," police said.
Two accused have been arrested and efforts are being made to recover the knife, police said.
Further investigation is in progress, they said.
