Dehradun ( Uttrakhand) [India], April 15 : Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday highlighted the developmental priorities outlined in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) election manifesto, which was presented yesterday.
Dhami underscored the government's commitment to prioritising the development of hilly states like Uttarakhand.
"In Prime Minister Modi's priorities, the development of hilly states and areas like Uttarakhand has always been a priority. This will boost eco-tourism as a master plan will be formulated and emphasis will be placed on connectivity. The development of thematic circuits for tourism is also planned, which will enhance cultural experiences in our diverse regions," Dhami said.
"Just like the Kashi corridor under PM Modi's leadership, religious corridors will also be established," he added.
He was speaking at a press conference that was held today in the Dehradun district of Uttrakhand.
Addressing the comprehensive nature of the Sankalp Patra, CM Dhami affirmed that every section of society, including the poor, farmers, and women, has been catered to.
He expressed confidence in realising the vision of a developed India by 2047 under PM Modi's leadership through the initiatives outlined in the Sankalp Patra.

He further said that this Sankalp Patra is a guarantee of making India the third largest economy. In this Sankalp Patra, emphasis has been laid on taking women's power further.
Meanwhile, the BJP unveiled its manifesto on Sunday with a tagline - 'Modi Ki Guarantee'. The manifesto outlines a vision for achieving 'Viksit Bharat' (developed country status) by 2047.
While announcing various guarantees in the party's manifesto, ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that decisions and the work done by the country today will impact its future for 1000 years.
Notably, among the 543 Lok Sabha seats, Uttarakhand contributes just five seats.
The BJP has fielded Mala Rajya Laxmi Shah, Anil Baluni, Ajay Tamta, Ajay Bhatt, and Trivendra Singh Rawat for these seats.Uttarakhand has been a hotly contested terrain for the BJP and Congress.
Earlier in the 2014 and 2019 general elections, the ruling BJP-led NDA clinched victory across all Lok Sabha constituencies.
