Oct 23, 2023

Rewa (Madhya Pradesh) [India], October 23 : Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA from Rewa, Rajendra Shukla after filing his nomination for the upcoming assembly election said the development that has been done in Rewa in the last 20 years needs to continue and the district is now ready to explore all its potential of being a developed district. The state is scheduled to vote on November 17 with the counting of votes on December 3.
"There is only one issue among the public and that is of development. The development that has been done in Rewa in the last 20 years needs to continue. The infrastructure required for the development is now ready and now we have to make it an educational hub, medical hub and to explore all the possibilities and potential that Rewa has for becoming a developed district," said Rajendra Shukla.
Earlier, exuding confidence, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday said that under the "leadership of PM Modi" and with the "blessings of the people," the BJP will win the next month's assembly polls in the state.
"Under the leadership of PM Modi and with the support and blessings of the people, we will ensure BJP's victory. Our workers and leaders are working for this," Chouhan told ANI.
Targeting the opposition, Chouhan said that Congress just makes false promises in the state. "Congress make false promises every day, Congress has not opened a shop of love but a shop of lies, the people of Madhya Pradesh will not trust them," Chouhan said.
"I don't understand whose Congress is in Madhya Pradesh, Sonia Gandhi's Congress or Mallikarjun Kharge? It seems that Congress has become Kamal Nath's Congress in Madhya Pradesh. He is doing the survey. He is distributing tickets", he added.
There has been a continuous war of words between the BJP and the Congress as the poll pitch is gaining momentum in the state.
