'Ensure prompt redressal of public issues; negligence is unforgivable': CM Yogi Adityanath tells officials

Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh) [India], July 6 : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed officials on Saturday to address the concerns of the people with the utmost seriousness, sensitivity, and attention. He also emphasized the need for strict legal action against those who illegally encroach on people's land or attempt to harm or oppress the vulnerable.
The Chief Minister met about 400 people at the Janata Darshan held at Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan in the Gorakhnath temple on Saturday. After listening to their problems, he gave the necessary directions to the officials present to ensure prompt and satisfactory resolution of each issue.
Referring the complaints to the concerned officials, he assured the people of the government's determination to address the problems of every victim expeditiously.
People from other districts also attended the Janata Darshan. The number of women meeting with the Chief Minister to express their grievances was significantly higher than that of men.
CM Yogi directed the officials to handle land-grabbing cases with complete transparency and fairness. "If the mafia is forcibly occupying someone's land, they should be punished as per the law," he told the officials.
The Chief Minister assured full assistance to those seeking financial help for medical treatment from the government. He directed the concerned officials to submit the treatment cost estimates to the government promptly. He also emphasized that matters related to revenue and police should be resolved with complete transparency and impartiality.
Furthermore, Yogi Adityanath warned the officials against any negligence or insensitivity in resolving people's issues under any circumstances. He stressed that addressing every individual's issues with commitment and transparency is the government's top priority, and any form of carelessness will not be accepted.
Regarding complaints related to the police and revenue departments, the Chief Minister stated that officials should ensure the resolution of issues at the district level itself so that people do not face inconvenience.
