"Even if INDIA bloc makes Nitish the convener, nothing will happen": BJP's Shahnawaz Hussain
Jan 03, 2024
New Delhi [India], January 3 : Senior BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain on Wednesday took a dig at talks regarding the appointment of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as the convenor of the INDIA bloc and said that nothing will happen even if the alliance makes him the convenor.
The BJP leader alleged that there is a conflict between Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Janata Dal (United) and both these are in conflict with the Congress.
"There is a conflict between JDU and RJD in Bihar, RJD and JDU are in conflict with Congress. A big dream was given to Nitish Kumar ji that if you leave BJP, you will be made Prime Minister face of the opposition," Hussain said.
"There is already a lot of controversy about the Prime Minister's face, Mamata ji and Arvind Kejriwal had put forward the name of Kharge Saheb due to which Nitish Kumar was disappointed," the BJP leader added.
Exuding confidence in winning the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, Hussain said that PM Modi will hit a hat-trick and this time he will cross 400.
"There is discussion on giving Nitish Kumar a consolation prize which is the post of convenor. Everyone knows that the post of Prime Minister has been completely reserved by the public. Narendra Modi ji will remain the Prime Minister of the country as long as he wants and this time he will hit a hat-trick and this time he will cross 400," the BJP leader said.
"People of Congress and India bloc also know that it is impossible to defeat Modi, since now there is no post, that's why they are asking for the post of convenor as a consolation prize. Even if he is made the convenor, nothing will happen. Now there is a complete Rammay and Modimay atmosphere and this time also Modi ji will come and win and will make the world a Vishwa Guru," he said.
Shahnawaz Hussain said that from the manner in which the discussion started about Nitish Kumar becoming the convenor of the 'INDIA' bloc, it is clear that JDU's pressure strategy has also been successful in national politics.
