"Everyone excited about your arrival," says Uttarakhand CM ahead of PM Modi's visit today

Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], January 28 : In light of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Uttarakhand on Tuesday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed the people's excitement to witness the inauguration of the 38th National Games by the Prime Minister.
Talking about the PM's visit in a post on X, CM Dhami mentioned how the PM has a "special attachment towards Devbhoomi."
"Your special attachment towards Devbhoomi is not hidden from anyone and every person of Devbhoomi also loves you very much. Under your able leadership, Devbhoomi Uttarakhand is going to host the 38th National Games," said CM Dhami in his post.

The CM was replying to a post by the PM, in which he mentioned the planned visit to Odisha and Uttarakhand.
Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the 38th National Games in Dehradun. The National Games is being hosted in Uttarakhand in 11 cities across 8 districts from January 28 to February 14. The theme of this year's game is "Green Games."
"36 states and one union territory will participate in the National Games. Over 17 days, competitions for 35 sports disciplines will be held. Among these, medals will be awarded for 33 sports, while two will be exhibition sports. Yoga and Mallakhamb have been included in the National Games for the first time. More than 10,000 athletes from across the country will participate in the event," the PMO's statement added.
A special park, named the 'Sports Forest' is being developed near the venue, where 10,000 saplings will be planted by various athletes and guests.
In Odisha, the PM is set to participate in 'Utkarsh Odisha-Make in Odisha Conclave' and in the evening, same day, he will be inaugurating the 38th National Games in Dehradun.
'Utkarsh Odisha' Conclave is the flagship Global Investment Summit hosted by the state government, and aims to position the state as the anchor of the Purvodaya vision as well as a leading investment destination and industrial hub in India.
Prime Minister will also inaugurate the Make in Odisha Exhibition that highlights achievements of the state in developing a vibrant industrial ecosystem. The conclave will be held from 28th to 29th January.
According to a statement by the Prime Minister's Office, the conclave will serve as a platform for various industry leaders and policy makers too.
"It will serve as a platform for industry leaders, investors, and policymakers to converge and discuss the opportunities Odisha offers as a preferred investment destination. The conclave will host CEOs and Leaders' Roundtables, Sectoral Sessions, B2B meetings, and Policy Discussions, ensuring targeted engagement with investors across the globe," read the PMO's statement.
