Global Indians 2022 presented

New Delhi [India] June 30 (ANI/Mediawire): The first copy of Global Indians was presented to the Hon Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu in New Delhi. Accepting the first copy of the book and pleased with the initiative that highlights Indian stars, he said, "India is unstoppable and there are great Indians in every sphere."

From sportsmen, social reformers, litterateurs, entrepreneurs, scientists to spiritual masters, artists, politicians and visionaries, the immense contributions of Indians, both in India and abroad, has been transforming lives globally. Their range and reach is staggering. Hence in the year of Amrit Mahotsav, India's seventy-fifth year as a free country, The Times Group has come out with the third volume of Global Indians, featuring twenty-one Indian achievers who are world-renowned for their sterling contributions that touch every person's life.
Swami Chidanand Saraswati who graced the occasion, exclaimed with enthusiasm, "Dil for India, Will for India, Time for India!" The second copy of Global Indians 2022 was presented to Gen VK Singh, MoS, Government of India, at his office in Transport Bhavan, New Delhi. The first Times Group Global Indian book was presented to the President of India Pratibha Patil in Rashtrapati Bhavan in 2010. The book featured luminaries like APJ Abdul Kalam, Mukesh Ambani, Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Kakodkar, Vishwanathan Anand, Ratan Tata, Azim Premji, Zakir Hussain, Kapil Dev, Amitabh Bachchan, Lata Mangeshkar, and many more.
The second volume of Global Indians in 2017 was first presented to Vice President of India M Venkaiah Naidu and later presented to Col Rajyavardhan Rathore, MoS Sports and Suresh Prabhu, Commerce and Industry Minister. Those featured in this volume included Narendra Modi, Sushma Swaraj, CNR Rao, Raghunath Mashelkar, Anand Mahindra, Virat Kohli, Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Asha Bhosle, Prakash and Deepika Padukone, M S Dhoni, P V Sindhu, Prakash and Vikas Amte, and Priyanka Chopra.

Global Indians book is an inspiration to many and we have decided to keep this book in our libraries to be referred to by our students and staff, say representatives of several colleges and institutions.
