"Great achievement for every worker of nationalist force," Telangana BJP leader congratulates LK Advani on winning Bharat Ratna

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], February 3 : As former Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani was awarded Bharat Ratna, Telangana BJP leader Prakash Reddy expressed his joy over the announcement and said that this is a great achievement for every worker of the nationalist force as the veteran leader was one of the most respected statesmen of their times.
Prakash Reddy said, "This is the first time a nationalist leader has been awarded such an award."
The Telangana BJP leader further thanked the Modi government for conferring LK Advani with Bharat Ratna, adding that such a move will motivate other nationalist forces too.
"Certainly the nationalist thinkers and personalities will be encouraged with such awards. Nationalistic thinking will spread and grow in this country," said Prakash Reddy.
He concluded his congratulatory message by saying, "LK Advani and every other BJP worker is happy today over awarding him with Bharat Ratna."
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi described veteran BJP leader LK Advani as a "great son" of India and said the decision to award him Bharat Ratna shows that the nation never forgets those who dedicate their lives to its service.
Speaking at an event to unveil development projects in Odisha, PM Modi said that as Deputy Prime Minister, Home Minister and Information and Broadcasting Minister, and a dedicated MP devoted to public causes, respected LK Advani has given unparalleled services to the country.
PM Modi said he has been fortunate to have continuously received the love and guidance of Lal Krishna Advani.
"Today, our country has decided to give 'Bharat Ratna' to its great son, former Deputy Prime Minister Shri Lal Krishna Advaniji. Advaniji's works and services have been inspiring. This honour to Advaniji is a testament that the nation never forgets those who dedicate their lives to its service. I have been fortunate that I have been continuously receiving the love and guidance of Lal Krishna Advaniji," PM Modi said.
